Moderately Helpful September 10, 2009 J. Gibson (Florida USA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I thought this book did OKAY when it came to prep but I would definitely get the Power Score books along with the Real LSAT practice exams to supplement it.
Do not buy November 15, 2009 John Smith (KS) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is the worst review book I have used. If you're going to study for the LSAT, go to LSAC and buy their books. I found so many grammatical in this book it was ridiculous, and the video was very unprofessional. Their prep test questions are nothing like the LSAT questions. This book is NOT going to help you get into law school. Very disappointing.
This book is great for a week to week plan October 20, 2009 J. Kasperson 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
What I really liked about this book is how it plans out what you should do on a week to week basis no matter how long you have to study for the LSAT. I didn't think it would help my score and it did really well. I'm very happy with the content and prep that came with the book.
Poor Book February 28, 2010 B. Mesa 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Save your money, get powerscore. My score went down on actual LSAT prep tests. Their made up tests are constructed poorly and cause you question your approach which may be more effective and their explanations fail to make sense. I think they may make the book outlandish and frustrating to help encourage individuals to buy their courses.................conspiracy, but not too far fetched.
Helpful if you use it May 31, 2010 Anna H. (Maryland, USA) I bought this book, 10 Actual LSATs, and the Kaplan guide. I decided to take the LSAT in mid-April and plan to take the test in June. I used the Kaplan book first, and I didn't see much improvement. This book, however, seemed to click with me to the tune of an improvement of 20 points. I'm now above the 90th percentile after using this book for about 1.5 weeks. This book's explanations were much more helpful for me in figuring out why I was missing questions than Kaplan's. But, be prepared to put in some time studying with this book. I've been putting in a couple of hours every night on getting ready for the test, and it seems to have paid off.
