Reminds me of the beach October 24, 2005 Francis F. Kilkenny (Charlottesville, VA USA) 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
This is an awesome EP! And while it IS too short, it's also an... EP. So, why's it so good? Every song is smooth, feel good and funky. How could it not be with Jack Johnson, G. Love, Donavon Frankenreiter and, the highlight of the album, Zach Gill. When I put it in my CD player pure fun pours out. While all six tracks are great, the highlight is Zach Gill's Girl I Wanna Lay You Down. If there ever was a great make-out song this is it;) My other favorite is Free, written by Donavon, which is just so... free. When I listen to this EP I feel like I'm at the beach on a nice sunny day surfing with my friends and cooking hotdogs over an open fire. Awesome!
It just makes you feel good... August 23, 2005 u_dogg40 (hawaii) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Not a suprise that when jack, don, and g. love come together with zach gill that a "fun" album will follow. there are more songs from the same sitting on vhi.com and [...]. so hopefully an "unplugged" album will come out soon. zach gill has been around for awhile and has found some difficulty making mainstream with the accordian, but this needs to be considered his "premier" album, frontlining with the likes of the kings of "feel good music." Definately not a disappointment! I only wish there were more, and the whole session was released. Also, I wish I knew when gatherings like this take place, not to be missed niext time!
As always Jack does not disappoint.... September 30, 2005 R. Hooyman (Little Chute, WI) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Great CD, wish there were even more songs on it!! Jack is outstanding. HOW OFTEN DO YOU CHECK THIS OUT? YOU HAVE A NICE VOICE BTW.
good find March 11, 2006 J. Holets 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This a good small live CD. if you like any of the artists featured you will enjoy owning this CD. The seven songs leaves you wanting more every time track seven ends but it is still worth the purchase.

I wish it was twice as long. Great for the summer, with the windows down, heading to the beach. Love it!
