Album Description
The sound of the Tibetan singing bowl is known for its healing properties and its ability to induce states of deep meditative absorption. This cd features two recordings. In track one, a single bowl is struck softly and regularly , providing a slow and steady rhythm for deep meditation. In track two one bowl steadily hums as it is played while two other bowls ring out intermittently.

For the most part I am pleased with this cd although I was initially a bit disappointed with the first track which is nothing but a single bowl being gonged at regular intervals. I tend not to use the first track for this reason- it is a bit monotonous and I was hoping for an array of chiming tibetan bowls rather than a single gong-type sound (after all they also make a gong cd). The second track is actual singing bowls and is what I had expected out of the cd. If both tracks were like this I would have rated this product a 4 or 5.

I love the singing bowl and this cd gives an hour of pure bliss. If you want to get into the "zone" while meditating or just need to relax a bit during stress at work, this cd is great!

I play this CD regularly, even when not meditating; just to soothe the soul. My bird, who may be squawking madly, immediately quiets when I put this on. Very soothing - rings true to the heart.

A few months ago, my friend gave me the Chanting Om CD from this series and I fell in love with it. I meditated with it nearly every day.
Then I found the Tibetan Singing Bowl CD! Also terrific! I love having these CDs, as now i can switch off in my meditation practice.
There are TWO tracks on this CD, each OVER 30 minutes long! The first track is the simple, hypnotic vibrations of the Tibetan Singing Bowl itself, being gently struck. And the second is a constant hum with the singing bowl used to completely relax the listener.
To say this series of CDs has changed my life would be an understatement. They've honestly helped me become a much better meditator. I can't recommend them enough!
