| Customer Reviews: Great, quick guide to the Emerald Isle! August 1, 2009 M. Mannion (St. Louis, MO USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Thank you Rick Steves! This was a fantastic guide to Ireland, but be sure to really plan your trip and don't be afraid to explore a bit outside of what the book suggests. This was a fantastic tool though! Ireland is my favorite country in Europe. There are three great things about Ireland: The sights, the sounds, but most of all THE PEOPLE! They are sooo friendly and helpful, kindness and laughter spread throughout the country (which is only the size of Illinois!).
Grab this guide, take a stroll in Galway, and enjoy "the craic!" It's ninety!

My husband is very pleased with the book and will use it to plan our trip to Ireland next year.
Amazon billed me for 3 of these books and made me pay postage to send back June 21, 2009 sandiego3day (san diego) 0 out of 10 found this review helpful
CAUTION - Amazon sent me 2 books I didn't order. They made me pay the postage to send back the 2 extra books. I could find any way to notify them. There is no place to mark on the complaint form that they made the mistake. They have set up the form so that it's impossible for a person to get their money back. Amazon debits your credit card. You have no way to fight those charges. There is no way I can get this money back. It was their mistake and they make me pay. NEVER again will I order from Amazon.
