Product Description

There hadn't been much happiness in Jase Joback's life. He'd been a foster child, had a bad marriage and lost everything in a divorce battle except some stock shares. After the crush of losing his corporate job, Jase headed for Colorado's backcountry and hired on as ranch foreman under old Jim Meade. When Meade died, Jase decided he must own the ranch, for he had no family and no other home. That's when he met beautiful Lidia McLeod.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A great vacation companion!   August 27, 2001

By chance I found a copy of Executive Hearts while on vacation in Colorado. It is a great read from beginning to end. I liked the aspect of the heroine being on a vacation/business trip and reading of her cattle round up, branding, being in old barns, gemstone hunting, fly fishing and the truly funny scene of the bicycle tour meeting the cattle drive head on. This book has many unexpected twists and turns and that I looooove.

1 out of 5 stars Weak Story   January 28, 2002

The story is weak and not very cohesive. The characters are weak and frankly stupid. Characters are brought in and out with no explanations and you begin to wonder why they were brought in. Names are dropped in dialog and you begin to wonder 'who's on first'.

The dialog leaves a lot to be desired.
