| Customer Reviews:
A very useful study on present carbonate sedimentation April 6, 2008 Kaapitone (Italy) This is Lawrence Hardie's "masterpiece" of what he calls comparative sedimentology. It is a very important study book for every researcher working on carbonate sedimentology - not all depositional systems will be comparable to that of the Bahamas, but it is a comparison you won't skip. It is surprising how it didn't become dated science yet. Sure enough, you don't want to base ALL of your research on such an old reference - but you'll find newer studies do not add that much, actually.
