5 out of 5 stars Absolutely loved this series!   December 15, 2006

I was looking for a vampire romance novel and was thrilled to see that Nora Roberts had written one. I was very quickly drawn into the series with the first book (finished it in 2 days!) and couldn't wait to keep reading the next books. I finished all three books in 5 days. I liked the relationship between Hoyt and Cian. Yes, the characters are a bit stereotypical, but the story was entertaining and captivating. My favorite book was the last one (Valley of Silence), followed by the first one (Morrigan's Cross). I felt that the central characters in the second book weren't fully developed in the first book for me to relate to them as much. Nora Roberts, as always, was able to draw me in and have me crying and feeling what the characters felt. Fabulous!

I ordered the trilogy because I like her books and to save money purchasing a boxed set - however, I could not get an answer from anyone at Amazon as to the names of the books in the set!

This trilogy is a great read. NR continues to deliver, even in the vampire world. I used to read a lot of Anne Rice, but some of her novels got a bit too graphic for me in parts, so I kind of fell out of them. NR told a beautiful story without being gross and I appluad her, as always.

Wow is the only word I can come up with. I was told to read these books and boy was I glad. I could not put them down. Within in a week I had read all 3 of them. I am waiting for the movie to come out.
