Product Description God s everlasting promise to bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel is still in effect today. Throughout its history, America has been in a unique position to bless the Jewish people, and has experienced many blessings as a result. In more recent years, however, America has failed to consistently stand by Israel and suffered dramatic disasters.
In this interesting and thorough book, McTernan traces the history of the Jewish people in America and how America s spectacular rise to power was tied to blessing the Jews. He examines America s integral role in fulfilling God s plan for the rebirth of the Jewish nation, and details the times when our nation defaulted on this call. Through a step-by-step analysis of political events, McTernan gives conclusive proof that God s judgment on those who curse Israel is still active. In every case where America has failed Israel, it has faced dramatic consequences within 24 hours.

where Bush Sr, Clinton and Bush Jr have gone wrong January 28, 2008 Richard N. Harding (Menlo Park, CA) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
I couldn't put this book down. I believe this will be the next Late Great Planet Earth in terms of popularity. The coincidence rate is so high in terms of these disasters happening at the same time American actions for dividing the land of Israel have happened makes it very hard to believe that there isn't some serious truth going on here. McTernan's predictions about the future are very real and disconcerting. If we divide the land of Israel are we going to give a few blocks of downtown Manhatten to the Al Queda? I hope not.

This book has a lot of historical items I have never read before. Anyone who watches the news will find this book sooooo interesting.
be careful December 28, 2007 Henry David 6 out of 19 found this review helpful
This book focuses on correlations between natural disasters in America and foreign policy regarding Israel. McTernan obviously put a lot of time and research into documenting hurricanes, stock market crashes, plane crashes, tornadoes, etc., but relating each and every one of these to (for example) Yasser Arafat flying into New York to speak at the U.N. seems either far-fetched or contrived. And if God is punishing America so harshly for every little action against Israel that could potentially be viewed as negative (when in reality America is one of Israel's closest allies), why are other nations that genuinely hate Israel still around and thriving?
Outstanding! April 30, 2008 T. G. Gregg (Sturgeon Bay, WI) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book opened my eyes to some things that had not occured to me before. My copy is all dog-eared and marked up with a yellow highlighter after having read it. I can't imagine the research that must have gone into connecting times that the US pressured Israel to divide her land in exchange for peace, to incredible disasters that have subsequently come upon America. The chapter titled "Jerusalem, God's Anvil" speaks loudly as to how God continues to use the Jewish people to reveal Himself to the world as He said that He would through His word. If you have any interest in the history of Zionism, the roots of Islamofascism, and the soon coming of the Day of the Lord, get this book. It's extremely well researched and easy to read.

This book makes you think and pay close attention to current events regarding Israel. It increased my respect for the jews and their cause. It has been very successful in that end.
