Excellent Mexico Road Atlas January 28, 2008 Byron Callas (Alameda, CA USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
It's really good, much better than I expected. There are about 48 linked maps covering all of Mexico - easy to follow. Unexpectedly, there are 51 city maps that give the general layout of the key city roads and links into those cities - really a pretty astounding, useful addition. An additional 13 detailed travel logs connecting all the major cities are excellent. I've had difficulty finding useful highway maps of Mexico, so I'm quite happy to have stumbled upon this rather excellent road atlas. It is brand new (2008), seems quite up to date, and I'm very happy with it.
Great guide! February 8, 2008 K. Tamura (SoCal) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Very detailed maps that are color indexed by region. The print is easy to read and the roads are shown to be toll roads or otherwise. Sturdy cover and pages all spiral-bound.
Not as good as expected February 28, 2008 J. Meeker 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I received this today and, frankly, am disappointed in its quality. I understand that maps of Mexico are hard to find, but this one is still not worth the money. It does have some city maps, but they are so general that you really cannot use them to navigate. There are some nice features, but overall, not worth the cost.
The best yet! August 25, 2008 Los Viajeros (Henderson, Nevada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My wife and I have been visiting Mexico for the past 28 years and have driven virtually over the entire country. This is our 5th edition of this great map book, buying a new one every two years. It all depends on what you're looking for, but the pages all blend together allowing for greater detail, images and road descriptions. The new highways and toll roads are updated regularly and the many city maps are always a great help. And then, of course, a map of the entire country is included, showing distances in both kilometers and miles. The various road signs -- both national and international -- have helped us numerous times as we've traveled. A person can unfold the larger maps of one page and then try to re-fold them if one wishes and losing your place in the meantime, but this is the best of the best for us, by far.
Long delivery time January 14, 2008 C. A. Parrott (UK) 0 out of 11 found this review helpful
I'd be happy to write a review (since I already have the 1997 edition, which is good). Although I ordered 2008 Mexico Road Atlas "Por las Carreteras de Mexico" by Guia Roji on 12Dec07 and it's now 14Jan08, it still hasn't arrived. To submit a review I have to give the book at least one star - and I'd rather give it zero (since I haven't seen it)
