Excellent story December 1, 2006 Cathy (Lincoln, NE United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Part of the "Children in Crisis" series, this is the story of Carbino, who fled Sudan at age eleven. Now twenty-eight, he has returned to Sudan to help his people as a translator with "Doctors Without Borders". Attractive layouts include many photos and informative sidebars. To hear the story of a refugee in his or her own words is a moving experience for the reader. Glossary, Further Information, and "How You Can Help" included.
